This year, we have decided to focus on safety - so be prepared to come and learn about how to stay safe in all kinds of ways, featuring exhibits from Allen County Sheriff K-9 Unit, Dept. of Homeland Security, Boy Scouts, EMS and Fort Wayne Fire Department! The Fort Wayne Running Club is proud to host the 28th Annual Runners on Parade presented by Fort Wayne Orthopedics. This race is the RRCA Indiana State 5k Championship and follows much of the path of the The Three Rivers Festival Parade. We look forward to the fans and crowds that line the streets to cheer on the runners and walkers. We will have epic race shirts again this year and unique awards. We will have post-race snacks for you to enjoy under the tent at Headwaters Park.

The Fort Wayne Museum of Art Chalk Walk has been a trademark event held on Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne since 2000. The event is based on an Italian tradition of street painting that dates to the 16th century, known as i madonnari (street painters). Using pastels, artists of varying levels of experience may choose to reproduce existing artworks or create their own in their designated square. The event typically draws 40,000 people to see the spectacle unfold.

Join us for our 52nd annual Festival Tour Bicycle Ride. We will be returning the start location to the Aboite area which we used in the 90's, and this year adding a new family friendly Greenway ride to the lineup along with our traditional road ride option of up to 100 miles. Kids ride free on the greenway ride with a paid adult and will receive their own completion award at the finish line.

The Fort Wayne Area Community Band will perform light classics, show tunes and marches prior to the 3RF Fireworks. The perform 18 minutes of nonstop marches to accompany the closing fireworks.
