Children’s Fest Summary
Applications are welcome from both commercial and not-for-profit organizations ($175 and $95 respectively for a 10×10 booth).
Participating groups must offer a FREE activity, giveaway or interactive experience at their booth. Examples would be face painting, temporary tattoos, bean bag toss, duck ponds, crafts, coloring books, free samples, etc.
Children’s Fest is a rain or shine event. Be prepared for our infamous Hoosier weather with shade awnings, rain covers, tie downs, and tent weights!
Do you have a mascot or a costumed character? Get even more exposure with your mascot participating in the twice-daily walking Character Parade. Kids love meeting the mascots, getting their autographs and pictures taken with them!
You’ll want to be part of this very popular 2-day event, with a daily audience of approximately 8,000 to 10,000 kids, moms and dads. Be sure you can be prepared with an adequate number of supplies (and volunteers) for both days of Children’s Fest!
Set up for Children’s Fest will be Thursday, July 14, between 12:00 Noon and 6:00 p.m. All events must be ready to open by 9:30 a.m. Friday. All booths must remain open and manned during Children’s Fest hours, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
